I'm a picky eater and when my wife took me here 33 years ago and I tried this I fell in love with it. I get it SPICY. I've had their lasagna too, Awesome. It's always a toss up what to get between the 2. I don't even need to see the menu. Rudy Jr. Shrimp Special-spicy please!! Nobody makes a dish like this. I have had shrimp and pasta everywhere because like I said I'm a picky eater. This is a 5 STAR dish. I also manage not to eat it all and get to have leftovers. There's nothing like the aroma when I warm up the leftovers. My wife would come home and say: "You had Clara's."

I get Fresh Zucchini "angel hair" with the Primavera with shrimp now since I have to limit my carbs. I order without mushrooms too and it's not a hassle because each dish is made to the customer's order and dietary needs. They offer the Primavera with just the veggies too! Veggies and shrimp are cooked perfectly. If you love veggies, this is your dish. I love them but such an effort to do it at home. Clara's does all the cleaning, chopping and cooking. There's plenty for leftovers. I have been going to Clara's almost since it opened. My husband and I for 32 years.

This is by far the best lasagna I have ever eaten. You must give this one a try. It is absolutely fabulous. The portion is very generous so you will likely have some left to take home for a second meal.

We had an absolutely fantastic experience at Clara's Restaurant for my daughter's bridal shower. The room and overall setup were beautiful—everything was arranged perfectly and created such a warm, elegant atmosphere for our special day. The food (pizza, lasagna, salad, dinner rolls) was outstanding, and every guest commented on how delicious everything was. The servers were truly phenomenal—attentive, friendly, and made sure everything ran smoothly from start to finish. Communication with the banquet staff was seamless throughout the entire planning process, which made everything stress-free and enjoyable. I cannot recommend Clara's highly enough for any special event! Thank you so much for a truly amazing memory!

Clara's is the best kept secret in the western suburbs. From the wait staff, to the unrushed atmosphere, and of course, the beautiful, authentic menu items, A+. Consistent quality from the early days when the restaurant was in the strip mall. No short cuts here. The calamari, lasagna, tiramisu… chef's kiss… if you haven't been here, you're missing out!
